I can’t seem to find a particular Celtic gift I’m looking for.  Do you do special orders?

Absolutely. If we don’t have it, we will do everything we can to help you find what you’re looking for. Contact us directly to discuss your needs.

What are your shipping options?

We will process your order promptly so that you may receive it as soon as possible. Normally items are shipped within 1 business day of ordering. Orders placed on the weekends will be processed the following Monday. Typically, you should allow up to 1 to 4 business days for delivery of your purchase if using UPS ground and  2-5 business days if using economy, U.S. Postal Service Priority mail (4 weeks for all special order jewelry, including wedding bands, mothering pendants and rings not in stock).

USPS Economy Shipping: $7.00 any value amount, delivery in 2 to 5 business days.  Delivery in this time framed is NOT guaranteed.

UPS Ground

1-5 business days from the date of shipment (see map).  Business days are Mon-Fri and do not include weekends or holidays.

UPS Second Day Air

2 business days from the date of shipment.  Business days are Mon-Fri and do not include weekends or holidays.

USPS Priority Mail

2-5 business days, however this is an estimate, and not guaranteed. Please allow more time at peak season (November 15-December 24).

What if an item is out of stock?

We will contact you if an item is out of stock and let you know when we expect the item to arrive. You may cancel your order at that time if you’d like; or, if you prefer, you can wait for the item to arrive in our inventory and for us to ship it to you.
If the out-of-stock item was part of a larger order, you can have your in-stock items delivered promptly and pay an additional shipping cost for the out-of-stock item or you can wait and have everything delivered in one shipment.

What is your return policy for in-store purchases?

Cash or credit-card refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if the product is in the same packaging and unused. You must have a receipt.

Between 15 and 60 days of purchase, we offer only store credits with receipt.
Music recordings, software or any other sealed product may not be returned if it is open.

Food stuffs, earrings or sale items are not returnable.

Special order items – such as heraldic items, jewelry or any other item that has been customized – may not be returned unless the product is defective. Defective items must be reported to us within 7 days of purchase.

What is your return policy for online purchases?

The same terms apply as our in-store return policy. In addition, we charge a 25 percent restocking charge for all returned items which qualify (except for defective products, which are not subject to the restocking fee).

All returns must be shipped using a trackable carrier (such as UPS or FedEx) and must be given a Return Authorization in advance. The Return Authorization must appear on the return address label.

What if I have to cancel an order?

If we have not yet shipped your order, it can be canceled. Contact us at 815.962.5458 during normal business hours. If the order has already been shipped, then the return policies outlined above apply.

What is your privacy policy?
The Kilt and Clover respects and protects your privacy.

  • We will not share customer information with any third parties.
  • Any information collected during the sale and shipping processes is used solely for that purpose.
  • The Kilt & Clover may contact you occasionally via e-mail after your purchase to inform you of new products and specials. All e-mail communications include an option for you to opt-out of future mailings.
